At the same time, offering sign language courses will help your organisation meet its legal duties under the Equality Act 2010 (Disability Discrimination Act in Northern Ireland).
3. Choose from flexible training options based on your specific requirements
If customer-facing staff have limited interaction with BSL users, our Start to Sign course offers an introduction to basic BSL signs (half-day or full-day courses available). If you have Deaf employees, or your staff have regular contact with Deaf clients and customers, our BSL at Work course can be tailored to include any jargon, abbreviations and terminology commonly used by your business (course lasts for 18 hours and can be delivered in three full-day sessions or six half-day sessions).

We can provide BSL training at a time and place to suit you. Please note that all BSL courses are temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 situation but we hope to have them available again soon (circa end Nov 2020).
