Frequently asked questions when looking for BSL interpreter services
How much will it cost?
The cost of each assignment varies depending on the individual needs of the person requiring support, the situation and the length of booking. Please get in touch to discuss what you’re looking for and we’ll provide a quote.
Can I make a one-off booking?
Yes – we can provide your organisation with flexible communication support on a regular or ad-hoc basis for every situation.
Are the interpreters professionally registered?
We only work with BSL interpreters who are registered with a professional organisation such as the Regulatory Body for Sign Language Interpreters and Translators (RBSLI), National Registers of Communication Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind People (NRCPD) and Scottish Association of Sign Language Interpreters (SASLI) for assignments based in Scotland.
How many BSL interpreters will I need?
If the interpreting assignment is for up to two hours, one communication professional is usually enough. For assignments lasting over two hours, you may need to book two BSL interpreters who will take it in turns.
Do you have reviews of your services?
We publish our reviews on Trustpilot so you can book with confidence. A recent reviewer told us: “Fantastic service offered, very easy to book and staff always helpful and accommodating”.
Can you provide other communication professionals?
