More than 12 million people in the UK have some form of hearing loss, including five million people of working age. This can range from a partial to total inability to hear. All levels of hearing loss can make communication in the workplace difficult without the right support.
Deafness and hearing loss do not limit anyone’s capacity for excellence and we want employers make the most of this huge pool of talent by enabling existing and prospective staff with deafness and hearing loss to thrive at work.
